Palm Point Music Institute is a school of folk song and dance. Serving as a retreat for artists looking to live a simple lifestyle, reminiscent of the time period from which their interests hail, the institute has living quarters, small classrooms, a performance space, and plenty of outdoor communal space for the temporary residents to enjoy.
The prominent entryway begins as one pathway, diverging upon meeting the communal lawn to open the experience for visitors. The communal lawn is stepped, and acts as guidance and an extension of the band shell, so performances can be heard throughout the community areas. The architecture of the band shell offers a framed view of Newman's Lake, where the peninsula that is the site reaches into. That's all, folks!
